Thunder and Lightning
We - who lives at the west coast of Norway are not used to the amount of lightning and thunder that we have had recently. The activity is due to an unusually hot summer, which we are not used to either. Climate change or not. The heat record from 1970 is close to being broken…
Hot Summer In Sweden
Recently we have been on holiday in Sunne. This beautiful place is located in Sweden, not far from the border with Norway. Nine members of the family have enjoyed themselves in the glorious sunshine.
Back On The Road
Tomorrow we will pick up the motorhome and go on a trip. It will be nice to get back on the road again. Photo equipment and a good mood are included.
Costa Del Sol On Film
A month on the Costa Del Sol with film.
Leica M4-2 and Frontier film from Stavanger Foto.
The films have ISO 100 and were run through the security check with X-rays both in Bergen and in Malaga. Thought it was ok since it was ISO 100, but maybe it still shows a bit of "dew"...
It was nice to not have to look behind the camera for every photo.
Several weeks after we got home we could look at the pictures.
It did something with the peace we got during the holiday.

Frontier Motion Picture Film 100D+ E-6. Positive color film.
FRONTIER 100D is a daylight-balanced color positive film for analogue photography. It is based on Ektachrome from Kodak. The film has moderate saturation, neutral tones and extremely fine grain. It delivers outstanding image quality and performance. The film is color positive and is developed in the E-6 process (development is not included in the price). Shot at 100 ISO.
A small bunch of feature films such as have used this movie type: 25th Hour (2002), Blow (2001), Argo (2012), Savages (2012), From Hell (2001)
The films are hand-rolled from large 400-foot film reels onto recycled film sleeves at our shop in Hillevåg, Stavanger.

Because of Easter, the wait for the negatives from Stavanger Foto will be longer than usual. In the meantime, black and white images are developed at home.
